Minnie Driver claims that the producers of her 1998 film “Hard Rain” exacerbated a challenging shoot in severe conditions after she asked for a more practical wardrobe.
In a recent interview on Jameela Jamil’s I Weigh podcast, Driver stated that the film’s producers, along with Morgan Freeman and Christian Slater, refused to allow her to wear a wetsuit under her costumes despite filming in “20 million gallons of water” during the production.
Driver mentioned the presence of large rain machines during the filming of the movie, which required long and challenging hours. Despite the difficult conditions, the cast had the advantage of being able to wear wetsuits under their costumes.
