Leonardo DiCaprio is set to take on a significant role in his upcoming project. According to a report from Variety on April 17, director Martin Scorsese, aged 81, intends to create a biographical film about Frank Sinatra following his work on a film centered around Jesus.
Scorsese plans to cast DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence in the film. Lawrence will play screen star Ava Gardner, who was Sinatra’s second wife after Nancy Barbato.
The publication referenced insiders who claimed that DiCaprio, aged 49, is set to portray the legendary singer-actor in the movie, while Jennifer Lawrence is being considered for the role of Sinatra’s second wife, Ava Gardner. DiCaprio and Lawrence, both 33 years old, appeared together in the 2021 film Don’t Look Up.

The film has not received official approval as Tina Sinatra, who manages her father’s estate, has not given her endorsement. Filming is scheduled to commence later this year in Israel, Italy, and Egypt.
