Grande and her ex-husband Dalton Gomez finalized their settlement agreement on Tuesday, six months after the divorce process began with the pop star filing on Sept. 18.

Grande, aged 30, and Gomez, aged 28, resolved the case in October 2023 but had to wait six months for the judge’s order to be implemented.

The couple signed a prenuptial agreement, avoiding any legal disputes in the last six months. Grande and Gomez submitted their settlement agreement to the court in October, but it only became effective on Tuesday in compliance with California law.

As per the prenuptial agreement, Grande will provide Gomez with a lump sum of $1.25 million, without any ongoing spousal support. Additionally, she will split the earnings from the sale of their Los Angeles residence equally with him and will also be responsible for up to $25,000 of his legal expenses.

Grande and Gomez parted ways over a year ago as indicated in legal documents. In September, she submitted a divorce petition citing irreconcilable differences. The ex-couple reached a settlement in October but had to wait six months for the judge’s order to be finalized.

The couple began dating in early 2020, but only revealed their relationship in May of that year, announcing their engagement on December 20 with a set of photos, one of which showcased her engagement ring. They tied the knot five months later, in May 2021. Following their breakup, Grande has supposedly been seeing her Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater.
