Taylor Swift has targeted Kim Kardashian in a new song from her highly anticipated album, The Tortured Poets Department. The singer has recently launched her eleventh studio album before the UK and European segments of her sold-out The Eras Tour.
On Friday, Swift dropped 31 songs and titled the extended album version “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.”
Two of the songs appear to be about Kim Kardashian.
Swift creatively used capital letters in her track “thank you AIMEE,” which delves into the theme of a malicious schoolgirl. However, the “KIM” linked to Swift is typically Kardashian, known for labeling Swift with a snake emoji.
The song focuses on a bully, with Taylor emphasizing the letters KIM in the title. It is widely believed that the singer was targeted by Kim and Kanye during their conflict, making the lyrics potentially aimed at the reality star.
During an interview with TIME Magazine, Taylor, who was named the publication’s Person of the Year 2023, addressed the conflict between them. She also discussed the repercussions of Kanye West’s lyrics in his 2016 song Famous, which contained the line: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, why? I made that b**** famous.”

The ongoing feud between Taylor and Kim originated from the singer’s conflict with Kanye in 2009. This dispute was sparked when Kanye infamously interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech at the VMAs after she won the award for Best Female Video.
