AfD Win Spells Economic Disaster, Germany's DIW Says
The election win by the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) in the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt is a disaster in economic terms, according to Marcel Fratzscher, president of DIW Berlin. "The AfD basically want to push out foreigners," Fratzscher tells Bloomberg Television. "They forget, of course, that also Germans are leaving, companies are leaving.
