Understanding the Long Fight Over Birthright Citizenship
In rejecting President Donald Trump’s attempt to end automatic US citizenship for children born to parents who are in the country unlawfully or on temporary visas, the Supreme Court on June 30 upheld more than a century of legal precedent.
