NFL Asks Supreme Court to Let States Regulate Event Markets

Bloomberg's Randall Williams said that the NFL is waiting before it strikes any deal with prediction market companies as the Supreme Court takes up the question of event market regulations. The league asked the high court to let the states handle regulation of the markets, saying that the 'laissez-faire' attitude taken by federal regulators opens the trading up for 'unscrupulous actors to cause mischief, trade on inside information, and harm game integrity.'
