HSBC’s Jain on Hormuz Strait Reopening
Parash Jain, Global Head of Transport and Logistics at HSBC, says shipping companies remain in “wait-and-see” mode as the Strait of Hormuz edges closer to reopening under a US–Iran agreement. He notes the next 40–50 days will be critical in determining whether more vessels can pass through, as de-mining operations are still underway. He does not expect significant movement in the short term. He speaks with Shery Ahn and Haidi Stroud Watts on "Bloomberg: The Asia Trade". (Source: Bloomberg)
