NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy on a mission to study dark energy, dark matter and planets beyond our solar system. Roman is headed about 1 million miles from Earth to Lagrange point 2, where its wide field of view will allow scientists to survey billions of galaxies far faster than the Hubble telescope.
