KKR Partner Alisa Wood Sees Record Year in Private Equity Exits
Alisa Wood, partner at investment company KKR, said that her firm has broken its previous record for asset sales because it is 'linear' in how it exists businesses and doesn't wait for businesses to reach the IPO market before selling. Speaking to Bloomberg's Dani Burger at the CAIS Summit in Beverly Hills, Wood commented on the crowded private equity landscape and said that there are too many funds, potentially limiting smaller managers ability to grow value.
