Big Yen Spike Leaves Traders Guessing On Intervention
The yen has extended its sharp rebound -- gaining as much as 1.2% against the dollar today. Traders are increasingly alert to another intervention by Japan and the US after last month's record $96 billion effort. Investors are also questioning whether the Bank of Japan could raise interest rates more aggressively than previously expected.
